Hastanede asansör düştü: 6 yaralı
If you have to have an accident, have it at a hospital.

The elevator in the main building of  Dr. Askim Tufekci State Hospital
in Cukurova, Adana, fell to the second sub-basement from the ground
floor yesterday at 1600 hours. There were six people in the elevator at
the time, when the elevator fell about 7 meters.

Hospital staff evacuated the injured and took them to the emergency
service section for treatment.  The elevator had been out-of-service in
the morning and was being repaired.  It appears that when a patient on
a stretcher was brought to the hospital, the patient was put on the
under-repair elevator, which then plunged, because the other one was
completely out-of-service.

TIR 4.10, köprü 3.90 nasıl geçemedim
"Missed it by that much, Chief"

In Istanbul, Erol Abanoz's trailer truck hit the overpass at 28 Nisan
Avenue while heading for Kagithane to unload cargo. The cab of the
truck separated from the trailer because of the impact and both
sections remained at the accident scene for 5 hours.  Driver Abanoz
had this to say about the accident: "I was at the overpass. It's height
is 3.90 meters. The truck's height is 4.10 meters.  I thought I could
make it but I didn't."
